Feeling tempted?
Temptation is a persistent, subtle, sneaky, seducing liar and destroyer of your life. We all are engaged in a struggle between flesh and Spirit. Be especially alert against the beginnings of temptation, for the enemy is more easily conquered if he is refused admittance to your mind and met at the door with faith, discipline, courage and a made up mind. Someone once said, "If you don't want to slip, stay away from the slippery places. When your weaker self is craving what will harm you spiritually, emotionally, financially and physically...don't continue rationalizing, making excuses and giving into your weaknesses. You are hurting yourself and those who love you. You have a choice. You don't have to remain in bondage of an addiction. You don't have to continue making the wrong choices. Once you see and admit that you are victimizing yourself and keeping yourself in a vicious cycle, it is the beginning of your breakthrough. Whether the emotional craving is spending, eating, shoplifting, drinking, drugs, a toxic relationship, cheating and creeping, gambling, ego trips or depression, you can turn your life around. Stomp on the enemy. Take small steps toward your victory or just stop right now...TODAY! Let nothing or no one weaken your walk to recovery, peace or salvation. Once you decide...God will provide you with the inner resolve and fortitude to take that hook out of your life.
