Have you ever had those times when you felt like you were off course or wondering if you were walking in your right purpose? I've had those times when I wondered; "Am I still on my right assignment... can I stay on course in spite of the distractions, difficulties, delays, disappointments, duties and the demands of life... can I be obedient even though feeling misunderstood, weary or unsure?" Allow me to share what fed my spirit during one of my recent morning meditations. Maybe this will bless you also. I opened my "Message" Bible and the God's word said to me...
Psalm 119 (Message Bible)1 You're blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the roadrevealed by GOD. 2 You're blessed when you follow His directions, doing your best to find him. 3 That's right--you don't go off on your own; you walk straight along the road He set. 4 You, GOD, prescribed the right way to live; now you expect us to live it. 5 Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course you set; 6 Then I'd never have any regrets in comparing my life with your counsel. 7 I thank you for speaking straight from your heart; I learn the pattern of your righteous ways. 8 I'm going to do what you tell me to do; don't ever walk off and leave me. Allow this encouraging scripture to keep you on course. Whether you call it your purpose, passion, path, assignment, anointing, mission or calling...don't give up. Yes, you may be discouraged...but not defeated. God will bless your efforts and faith.
