Inner Peace

"The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence and his power for good.  Calmness of the mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom."       ~ James Allen

How do you know when you have achieved inner peace?

1) Rather than reacting based on past fears and experiences, you stay in peace rather than falling to pieces when change, stress or conflict arise.

2) You focus your thoughts and gratitude on this " now moment."

3)  You lose interest in judging yourself and judging other people.

4)  After experiencing pain, loss and setbacks, you grow in acceptance and

renewal instead of having a pity party.

5)  You let go of anger and pain as you grow to practice forgiveness.

6)  You don't worry so much any more.  You tell yourself...  " I'm too blessed  to be stressed."

7)  You don't spend a lot of energy trying to control others or fix other

      people's problems.

8)  You have frequent overwhelming episodes of appreciation.

9)  You are content and feel connected to God, nature and other people.

10) You have frequent outbursts of smiling and praising God.

11)  You have an ability to let go and not sweat the small stuff.

12)  Your math is improving because you are counting your blessings more

and more.  It spite of circumstances...you count it all joy.

13)  Your heart is more open to receiving and giving love.

14)  One sign is a changing attitude toward unfolding events.   Less and less

do you demand that events and people conform to your insistent

cravings.  This indicates a falling away of a false belief of control

because you are maturing emotionally and spiritually with contentment.

15)  You have more conversations and communion with God, your ever

present source of provision, peace and prosperity.

You spend more time in places of peace, harmony and beauty.

"Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself, and know that everything in life has purpose. " ---

"The light from heaven is about to break upon us...to give light to those who sit in darkness, and to guide us to the path of peace."   ~   Luke 1:78, 79  Stay in the Light
